2018/10 LOG-IN 2018
We have been partners of Logistic forum LOG-IN 2018 in Prague
We also participated in the morning presentation of case study “Innovative holistic system thinking allows the logistics system to achieve the same output with half of its resources”.
The presented automotive case study demonstrates that, instead of technological innovations maximizing performance (minimizing costs of individual parts and interactions of the logistics system, system thinking (process innovation) can be upgraded, taking into account a comprehensive perspective in logistics management. Holistic system thinking defines optimal (not maximal) performance of individual parts and interactions (requiring a significantly lower need for total resources) based on the purpose of the system under study. The purpose of the system under study. The purpose of the system under deep view is not a profit (minimum costs) but a satisfied customer. Profit is generated by satisfied customers not vice versa.
